While cleaning my baby for sale yesterday, at some point I lost the auto-seat and tilt memory function when you start and turn off the car...

Seat and tilt moves, but memory and auto movement is gone...

This happened once before but it corrected itself...

Thoughts?

1. Check the cancel button. Is it out (with the little white stripe showing)?

2. Check the fuse box.

3. Check the connections under the seat.

4. Read this post:

(you might have to disconnect the battery, to reset the system first)

I did mine, yesterday.

You might need to reset (boot) the BCU. On my 96 I turn on the key AND the headlights and then open and close the drivers door twice. I have had to do the twice since I purchased the car in Feb. of this year. This might be different for different model years.
