"She believes she shouldn't have to "invade" her savings to pay for her living expenses."

Mortgages on 6 homes and 1 condominium. Well, cut back on your living expenses. She desperately needs to get mushroom stamped.

Lol. So she's not satisfied because at the end of the year she won't have half of his yearly income? Guess some women really were bred for the digging of the gold.

I stopped reading after the mortgages part.

Sell the homes, pay off what's owed and burn the bridges, move on. This isn't digging for gold, this is insanity. I could live for 10 years easily on what she pays for mortgage in one month.

If she wanted to keep living that way, she shouldn't have initiated a divorce. It was her that did so, and I don't think he ever corroborated their "irreconcilable differences." That said they're both spoiled children who should be taken back behind a woodshed and beaten.

^^This

Sell the RE, plow the cash into something that generates income, and make do with 1 or 2 residences like a normal person.

I hate greedy people.

There really is no reason for anyone to spend money like that in the first place.

It is his money, leave it with him.

Nine million in lawyer fees?! WTF.

I hate people.

I cry inside because with $150,000 dollars a month...

I would pay for every NICOnaut's travel and logging expenses for any one over 1000 posts and send their a** to Carlisle. I would still have plenty of money left for my monthly expenses.

THIS!!!

I dont care how much or little you make, pre-nups are always needed. I refuse to ever let someone tell me that they deserve any more than they came into the relationship with.

... I may be a bit bitter on this subject though, considering I got taken for all of her possessions, 90% of OUR possessions, and some of MY possessions, and got left with all of OUR debt and bills.

Oh, and I wasnt even married, just out of town.

I don't care how much you love someone, people do crazy s*** when it comes to the end, and love doesnt mean anything at that point to some.

EDIT: The rules that I have just stated only apply when there are no children involved. Add children, and that is just a huge mess.
