The gap will still be there, even with big wheels and low profile tires. Your next option is to install lowering springs:

Eddnog's Rogue with H&R Sport Springs, 245/45-19 tires, and Privat Zentralle 19x8 +40 wheels:

While I admit that they look really good lowered, I don't see the point in buying an SUV/CUV and lowering it... I suppose if you own a FWD there's really no difference between lowering the Rogue and any other car. But with my AWD, I like the little bit of extra clearance that I have.

Having said that, those wheels on Eddnog's ride are really hot. I like the 18"s on the 2011 SL, but I may have to look for nice wheels when it comes time to replace the tires....

The drop with the H&R sport springs is pretty mild. I think it looks great for CUV. But you have to be willing to put up with the stiffer ride too... 18-19" wheels with low profile tires and lowering springs is going to make the Rogue drive like a lumber wagon. Be prepared!

Good one Leo!

Now I want to see someone put coilovers on a Rogue and drop it. On second thought, maybe not!
