when my contis are all used up here shortly, bout 34k on them now...i want to replace these S hubcap shiet with some sort of rim/wheel package but I really don't want to modify the suspension since I use the car for work and dont want a lowered car...whats the solution to this without having nasty wheel gap?

You could buy bigger wheels/tires to fill the gap. But then your speedo will be way off. Otherwise you either deal with gap or buy springs.

biggie: cant they adjust the speedo?

silver: people who are selling their SL wheels i've noticed want far too much $$ for them. i guess i could just buy aftermarket 15" wheels

wheel size has little to do with over all wheel/tire height (i have 17s and my total height is 0.1 inch smaller than the stock set-up). if you want the gap to go away you can: 1. get bigger tires. like biggie said your speedo will be WAY off (i dont think you can just adjust it), you will get less mileage and you car will be slower. 2. buy lowering spring.
