Just installed my STR 20x10.5 +35 offset all 4s 245/35 XL 60psi

Must say the car feels better that the stock 19s even with the mild tire strech I'm riding on now. I will say 10.5 +35 is pretty perfect for are Fuga's. I will install BC coils and drop it 2.0 inches in the front and 1.5 in the rear soon.

You won't rub at 255 at all. I ran 245/35 because that's the look I like. 9.5 +35 255 you will be fine more that enough room to clear fenders.

Why 60 psi? Sounds above recommended specs?

The tire is a LX extra loaf tire it handles 60 psi easy I like my strech to be very hard so the tire won't flex on pot holes

Doesn't that make it more prone to pop with a hard hit?

Not always, that's why we use extra load tires more psi will keep it firm. 245/35 is actually a mild strech. But if your tire is under inflated when strech yes that's when bad things happen to much softness in the tire when u hit a pot hole the rim can hit and cus a flat. So I run 60psi firm side wall. Some guys run 40-90 psi depends on how much strech and size of wheels. 245/35 on 10.5 I like to use 60psi but my friend run 40psi and never had a problem as well. My tire is a 95 load 1521lb each tire that play a role also.

what brand of tire is that?

my tires are 100XL with 1,764lb load and my max psi is only 51psi... I'm running them at 42psi to make it a little firmer for the sidewall. you know people running 90psi?? :eekdance

You can run more than 51 trust me but the scion Tc u see next to my car is running 90psi for 1 year now I'm running 245/35ZR20 95Y XL TL BSW NS-20 NOBLE SPORT NANKANG at 60psi strech. A 100xl can take more than 51 psi trust me and also I know people I see every day run 40 psi strech as well but I love 60psi for all my cars I strech.

10.5 245/35 we use 60 psi 10.5 225/35 and 215 we use 80-90 psi. I understand the science or what the tire say would say wrong but this is experience from day to day driving.
