I know it's the middle of summer but I'm looking to get a set of wheels to mount snow tires on.

What bolt pattern should I look for?

If I buy used, what other car models will fit an 03 M45 with 18 in rims? Maxima?? Q45?? Other???

Thanks

5x114.3 ... pretty much any if the cars you mentioned should be "okay". Offsets are different on the newer M35/45's so be careful of those.

Exactly right! Thanks, Keith!

For snow tires, I would get the cheapest 18x7.5 or 18x8 Nissan wheels you can find. Something with 35mm offset should work just fine.

Actually, I'd look for some 17x7 or 17x7.5 and get some 225/55/17's They'll look a little funny, but are very good for real snow/slush driving.

Keep in mind, my recommendation is based on the idea these will be TRUE winter/snow tires and by that I mean tires that you can't use on sunny winter days when it will get up into the upper 50's. That's what I used on my large RWD sedan and I was very impressed.

Good points! Always best to get true snow tires for high-power RWD cars ... never assume that "All-Season" are alternatives.

Snow tires may be cheaper for those 17" sizes too. Just make sure to get the correct load index (94 to 95 or higher), and keep them inflated to the correct values.
