Post

Hi all I am kind of new to the forums, I have been reading up on the forum for the past week and decided to join after I got my
ingen short ram air intake installed.

I currently drive a 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5L that is crimson black. I have a few questions on mods seeing that I am just getting into improving my car I only know the basics, so any wisdom would help tons. Yesterday I put in a ingen short ram air intake, the thing is great, so glad I got it, but back to the main point at hand.

I have 4 areas of my car that I am trying to mod, my wheels, grill, exhaust and suspension.

Wheels- Looked around a lot for new rims, but I have decided to keep the stock ones, but I want to change them to matte black if possible, smart idea or no???

Exhaust- Stillen cat-back exhaust looks like the best option right now my only question does it remove any one of the 3 cats in the process??? because it is illegal to touch the cat at all in Texas

Grill- Narrowed down my grill option color to matte black so I will have a cool combo with the wheels and grill, don't know if it will look good or not.

The grill I am interested in is the cmod http://cmodgrilles.auctivacommerce.com/ ... 27390.aspx
Don't know if it is wise to keep it matte black or have it painted to match my car or just paint my current grill matte black, but no clue if it looks good or if it is possible or if I am retarded for thinking up that idea

Suspension- The only thing I know about suspension is the Raceline front sway bar and how good it is, just really asking if you would enlighten me if I should even be thinking suspension and the details like performance, cost and manufacturer and install.

If you could answer any of these 4 areas I would really appreciate it and before you say anything I know I posted a similar post two days ago, but it was really messy and I believe it was hard to read and understand, so sorry if you already read it.

Going with plastidip is a very popular route

It doesn't remove the cats.

Popular suspension items are RL front strut bar, RL / Stillen Rear Sway Bar, lowering springs, and others. It really depends on what direction you're headed.

Can you elaborate on the platidips? pros and cons

Can you explain the suspension in more detail?
