I would like to put 14" or 15" wheels on my Base and will be headed to the local junkyard to see if there are any available. A couple of questions:

1. What wheels will fit the Versa Base bolt pattern? I assume older Sentra wheels will fit, will any Nissan wheels fit? Will other makes fit? What bolt pattern should I be asking for?

2. Do 15" wheels fit on a Versa Base? Will I need a special tire profile?

As you can tell I know very little about buying wheels.

tnx

The Versa base has the same body parts as a Versa sedan so 15" wheels with stock tire size 185/65-15 would fit. The bolt pattern is 4x113 so any 8-hole pattern should fit (they are usually 4x100 and 4x113 together). As for earlier makes of Nissan... no idea. But I do know someone got a set of Sentra SE-R wheels which fit, but you'll want to make sure the bolt patter is 4x113 on any that you purchase.

Good luck digging around!

Not all 4 lug Nissans will work. Only newer Sentras are 4x114.3 (B15/B16). Newer Altimas should work. And doubt 14s will clear the brakes.

This should help:

http://www.discountedwheelware...e.cfm

It isn't updated with all the newer models though. Couldn't find an updated chart anywhere.

14's do not fit, no caliper clearance. Tried it before buying winter radials.

Sentra SER wheels fit. They are heavy as hell though and for the price just get a package on tirerack or another company.

"2. Do 15" wheels fit on a Versa Base? Will I need a special tire profile?"

Of course they fit. Do you have 14's on your Versa? Just asking.

Previous Honda Accord had 4X114.3 bolt pattern from 1990 to 2002. Even Prelude from 1992-96. Mostly, 4 x 114.3 was common on Nissan but less on other cars company.
