So I have 2 options of wheels for my 06 M35 available in my area and can't decide.
1. Vossen CV1
2. 2010 GTR R35 Wheels (Gray)
The Vossens look SUPER clean from pics. Going to see the R35 wheels tomorrow.

This brings up a few questions for R35:
1. backspacing?
2. Will I need spacers?
3. Will the rears stick out of wheels well?

Any input you fellow M35 owners can give will be greatly appreciated.

PS. the car is currently stock ride height however, I have a set of Tanabe springs I would like to put on when I get some wheels. Will these be an issue with the R35 wheels?

I'm assuming they're the OEM staggered GTR rims? If so, the rears on the GTR's will need some work to fit...you will need to roll the fenders and dial in some negative camber...if not then will definitely stick out past the fenders..you may want spacers to make the fronts more flush

Also, I don't think they will look good unless you lower it

They are staggered stock fitment. how will that effect tire wear and drive ability with the negative camber?

It'll cause some uneven tire wear. Drivability will be fine.

Yep as Don said it'll be fine. I have a negative camber from being dropped on H-Techs the uneven wear is just slightly noticable during tire rotations.

10.5 with an et of 25 will need alot of work (drop, roll, pull, camber arms & stretch tires will be needed)

even the CV1 at 10.5 with et45 will stick out but not as much as the Gtr wheels

Yeah... Ummm... the GTR wheels would be bad a**, but I really don't want to go through all that.
Guess the GTR's are out. lol. Going to see the CV1's on Weds. guy said I could test fit them. They came off a Maxima and are 20x9 & 20x10.5 so we'll see.
Thanks for the info Freddy!!

I do like the Stock 8 spoke 20's off an fx35/45 too. Hard to find in decent condition.

I have a set from my 06 FX, but these things are gigantic (i have stock tires on them still) and shipping will be at least $400. lol

I say go wild and get the newer design GTRS! I don't really like Vossens.

Here is a look at how the Vossen will fit your car. The front does need spacers in my opinion or atleast i would like them more flush. The rears stick out just a tid bit. Nothing that will mess up the wheels. I am lowered on Eibachs and I don't Rub or hit at all even with people in the back. But haven't had a heavy load yet.
