I was hoping not to have to drive my '07 M45 Sport this winter, here in Massachusetts, but looks like I might not have a choice. Anyways, what do you guys feel are the best winter tires for this vehicle? Also, I'm assuming I should buy some wheels as well. What do you think would perform best? 17's, 18's??? Does it matter

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Get yourself a set of M35x OEM 18" wheels (I assume you ride on 19", right?) - there are several members on Classified forum selling their OEM 18" rims with or without TPMS sensors after upgrade to 20" or 22".Once you have the rims put some Winter Performace tires in 18" stock size and speed rating and you are all set. IMHO, OEM 18" rims look better than many aftermarket options and can be had for very attractive price used.

I just put a set of Hankook Icebears W300 on my stock 18" wheels but haven't seens any snow or ice on them yet.

As for going 17" - there was a thread a while ago where we discussed in details going 17" winter tire way.
