well the good news is your 88 uses the 5x4.5 bot sircle which makes it a lot easier, are you saying you like the stock size? which I believe are a15x6.5 in either a +20 or +30, I'm sure az can clear up that last 10 mm, as for tires what is the intended purpose? if you into drags vs, autocross vs snow driving, the tire choices will vary

Street racing is stupid and immature. I hope you end up a fiery ball of death in a street race.

And you have an NA. I seriously doubt you're going to be winning any races with it anyway.

quit racing Geo Metros and try racing real cars.

SIR does test and tune days. Take it to the track. Cheaper than getting arrested for street racing and having your car impounded and paying for a street racing ticket.

street racing is dumb, if you want to drive fast legal, sanctioned drag racing is actually pretty cheap, also autocross is inexpensive way to really learn to drive

Lighter wheels are generally race only applications. Why? Because hitting a pot hole with light weight wheels is liable to crack or bend them.

How much money you got to spend? Expect to spend at least $400 per wheel for lightweight wheels that fit properly.

Stock size is 15x6.5 +20mm.

you can damage heavy weight stockers on potholes, I have a collection of busted wheels, a stock Z32 wheel, a stock swastica as well as a couple of caddy wheels ( compliments of my father)

the more sidewall you have the less likely you are to tweak a wheel on a pothole but it vcan still happen, anyhow, the 17x8 and 17x9 cobra style 5 spokes seem popular on the z31 and pretty cheap and available in the ocrrect offset I believe

Are you even trying? I know you're young, but do you have to prove it?

I think az's point is that if you were to google z31 17x9, z31 wheels or something similar you'd get a ton of hits, and if you go to tirerack.com or tires.com you can shop for direct fit wheels and takes no more time than soliciting advice on a forum
