Hello everyone,

I'm proud to be a new owner of 2008 G35 sedan. I don't know much about wheels/tires. So hopefully someone can help answer a question for me? This is what I'm looking to do:

1. I want to upgrade to bigger rims and wider tires, I pretty much want to have a flush wheel well look (meaning that no spaces/gaps in the wheel well). But I want to know if you can do this without lowering the car and then upgrading to rims/tires. I've owned lowered cars before and I just prefer to have a nice looking/cruising G35 car. If you can point me in the right direction it would be helpful. Thanks again everyone.

I'd speculate that if you got wheels and tires big enough to remove the fenderwell gap, that the wheel/tire would end up rubbing something. It would at least necessitate a much narrower wheel and tire, but even then, it would likely rub something when turning.

You'll probably have a lot better luck getting this answered fully in the G specific forum. You should be able to find everything you ever wanted to know. And then you'll keep finding things out. Forever.

Welcome!
