I would like some opinions if possible... Usually I am not a fan of these types of posts, but being in the market to purchase the items below, I was wondering what you guys thought before I went and spent 1500+ on the wheels, tires, and intake.

I have an 08 Altima Black on black with the tech package and the 2.5SL.

Will the intake in question void my warranty (I know it's been answered, but I really want to make sure). I purchased the extended 8 year contract with the maintenance included (got a really good deal through a friend that works at the dealership), and just included it in my payments. So I am covered for 8 years where I don't have an out of pocket cost, which is good for me.

Well, let me know what you guys think, thanks.Mario

Images don't work.

Put the link in between [IMG] tags, where the 2nd tag has a forward slash before the IMG.

The sales manager at my dealership told me just the opposite. He said I would have to prove that my after market part DIDN'T cause the other parts to fail. What a douche. Oh well, he gave me free kick plates and floor mats.

if your really worried i think the dealership offers intakes that won't void the warrenty, I'am not 100% sure on this, as i saw intakes and other parts for sale last time i was a nissan dealership. Please feel free to correct me.

The intake will not void warranty unless it was the cause of the damage. But you don't even have to worry; if something goes wrong, just remove the intake and reinstall your factory airbox and play stupid. When taking your car into service, just act like an idiot who knows nothing.

"DURR...Uhmm...what's an intake?"

They have to prove the intake caused the malfunction or issue etc.
