ok im planning on purchasing some gram lights 56c wheels but im confused on what width to purchase. im thinking the 17x7.5 all the way around, but as i look in all of my magazines i see that most of the rwd cars have wider wheels in the back by like an inch or two. Would it benefit me any by getting 17x8.5 in the back or would it not make much of a difference for me to notice??

Dude, I have 17X9's in the rear...you just have to get the right offset...

I like the way it looks...running 245's

Wouldn't smaller width wheels in front and wider ones in back introduce understeer in cornering? Or am i just dumb? But anyway, for grip cornering, is it better with all wide tires, or wider rears?

Oh and would 245s be a good grip setup?

I've always thought 275s on the front would be possible with a little sheet metal massaging. But they fit stock? Awesome. Really nice setup, SpeedFreak.

For those interested, here's SpeedFreak's CarDomain site.

BTW, are those 24 offset?

so, back to my question, is it necessary to put wider wheels in the back or could i do 17x7.5 all the way around?

No, it's not "necessary", some people just prefer a staggered setup. 17 x 7.5 will fit fine at all four corners.

+22 if you want flush, +30 if you're paranoid about clearing anything
