Hey guys. I have an interesting situation going on. My cousin quite a while back hit a curb pretty bad in the rain in his 93 240sx fastback. Since then he's had pretty bad problems with that one wheel that made contact with the curb. For reference it was the passenger front wheel that got damaged and it bent the rim pretty good. After that, we put the car on jacks and assessed the damage. Didn't look too bad, the lower control arm was bent, the nuts that were welded on the inside of the uni-body that held the core brace and sway bar bracket in broke loose from the welds. So since then we replaced the lower control arm, re welded those nuts back in and tightened everything that had been loose. The result, it was loads more stable and didn't wander so much. But here's the problem, that particular wheel makes a pretty noticeable whirring sound that alot of the time overpowers the radio. The tire on that wheel gets eaten up pretty fast and every so often the steering likes to kick out towards that wheel. So the wheel jerks slightly out to the right on occasion. Nothing too dramatic, but just enough to get a momentary 20-30 degree direction change off to the passenger side. Not sure what could be causing it. Everything underneath the car looks pretty good. We have already taken it back to check the alignment but it checked out fine. What could I be overlooking here? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

bearing/knuckle/hubbearing will make the noise if it bent the lower control arm i would suspect all these parts, plus outer tie rod, inner tie rod, and strutenough to bend the control arm is a pretty darn good force

Thanks. I'll double check all those parts for good measure. The only part I don't think I've really looked at was the bearing. I suspected it but shunned it thinking it was something else. Thanks for the input.
