Hey guys,

This could possibly be my first post, so I'll introduce myself first. My name's Aaron and I live in Hawaii (Kauai specifically) and I ride a 2001 Pathfinder with an aftermarket shift flare. Kidding...but it does have a shift flare. Anyways, the setup I'm thinking of doing is with these wheels (15x8 - 3.58" bs) and these tires (31x11.5x15). 90% of the off-roading is done in sand which is why I'm opting for those tires. Of course this would be after doing the 2" lift. Is anyone running a similar setup to this? The issue I'm thinking I would run into would be the width of the tire and if it would cause rubbing. You think this will work?

first off, welcome to the board!

thats a big size tire, no doubt about it. I'm running a similar size, 265/70/16 on a 16x8 wheel, if you search my screen name, or just look a little farther down the thread you should find my posts. you will have to do a considerable amount of trimming off the front bumper, mud flaps if your planning on keeping them, rear bumper may need a little trimmed off, and the fender flares will need to be trimmed or replaced with wider ones possibly. a lift might not be necessary, I believe my setup is close to a 32/10.5 and I'm not lifted at all. another inch in width can mean alot. also, what are the offsets or backspacing of the wheels your looking at, that could make or brake your plans too.
