I recently got a 2012 Rogue SV and am looking for winter tires/wheels for it.

A friend of mine offered me their winter tires from their 2018 Rogue, 40300-4BA0B OEM wheels with 225/65/R17 tires (GEN15-50277D Tires).

Will these wheels/tires work on a 2012 Rogue? From what I've looked at online, the aftermarket rims used for a 2012 and 2018 Rogue are identical part number, but they're saying that the OEM rims are not compatible? Why is this?

See if the attached file helps...

I have a better version in an Excel spreadsheet but can't attach it here...? You have to watch the wheel offset and make sure the calipers will clear.

FYI - They should fit, but you'll have to confirm. I have a 2013 Rogue and have been running 18" wheels on it from a 2009 Murano since I got it 7 years ago.

LOL you mean diameter right; radius 17 wheels are (34")

The site probably says not compatible because of the TPMS difference?? Pretty sure the wheels fit

My bad. I was never good at geometry. Oh boy, I meant rim diameter instead of radius. I guess I don’t know what the R meant on a freaking tire. :facepalm2

In turn this will produce 1.21 gigawatts to run a flux capacitor. :bowrofl:

Flux capacitors are a myth. It's the dual fretonators on the quad that cause real issues. :rotfl

casperfun ,I know you have a supurb sense of humor when the posts start " loosening-up " :chuckle:

p.s. I got Ruk wrong - not Roc . Ted Cassidy ,( Lurch ) in Star Trek said "That was the equation !" and then helped Kirk out of the hole.
