I am looking to put an upgraded wheel/tire combo on my new M35x for the summer. Any recommendations? Words of caution and wisdom? I was hoping to go to some 20" Zinik wheels, but I am open to suggestions.

Honestly the best thing you can do is add a set of really good tires... Skip the overpriced, heavy, and cheaply made 20in wheels......

If you live in snow areas, then having a set of snow tires for the winter is useful. To avoid having to mount tires on wheels all the time, I recommend buying a set of cheap steel wheels for the snow tires and just swapping the whole thing (wheel and tire) back and forth in summer/winter.

In summer, just put the regular M wheels on! They are very nice indeed, and I would endorse Wes's suggestion to just spend the money on excellent summer and snow tires! While people may disagree, I have always felt that looks come second to performance!

I have put these wheels on four different M35x's with all season all performance tires.

They work great and look sweet doing it.

No real difference in ride or handling.

yea for the summer i put 20s on my car, makes the car looks Mazing... I have 20inch mkw 12 with a falken 245/40/20 tire. this is the widest tire you can put on an AWD M. I am looking to sell these rims if anyone is interested let me know.
