I hate making these types of threads, but i need some input from the nissan community.

Im nearing the end of school and will FINALLY have time to get back to my 240 (its been parked for a year). First order of business is a FMIC, suspension (already picked out) and wheels. I was leaning twords Volk GTU's but would rather not spend that kind of cash on wheels, when the car still needs to go faster .

so, anyone reccomend anything for my S14?juuuust for good measure

I've seen a gold RB'ed S14 in Tenn with 350Z rims and they looked real good, let me see if I can find pics.

Found one ... in this thread.

That'd look hot with a nice set of black FN01R-C's

Also check out the 5Zigen GN+ wheels... they look very nice in person!

Hit me up if you need any pricing, availability, or fitment help.

no car looks good with FN01RC anymore. They are only good for 'until... ' wheels (or track wheels). ex: "i only have them UNTIL i can buy better wheels."

truer words have not been spoken in the entire history of the past 24 hours.maybe it's just the fact that i'm in california and the rest of the country is 2 years behind. dunno. I guess FN01RC was cool 2 years ago.

uhhh... yeah So when are more companies going to take 5zigen's lead and make wide, low offset, reasonably light, reasonably priced, good cast wheels that actually have some character. Like the 17x10 face? Work emotions = too much $$$ for what they are. Bee*R = too high of an offset, but they look cool.

motegi supposedly. plus there is that group buy on kosei K1's on zilvia, there are the DT05R's, the MB motorsports. they are out there, you just have to look. hell even the 5chicken typhoons aren't as played out as the fn01rc's and they are the same price.

whats with wanting "cool" wheels? don't ppl have thier own taste in what looks good? Just cuz a lot of people have a nice looking wheel doesnt make it start to look different.

I know for a fact those should be available in a few months... they got a large reaction at SEMA. There is also a 100% polished FN01R-C that should be available as well, but I have no idea if that wheel will be produced.

I also am working on a little something that the 4-luggers will like

I wouldn't take what me and Buudweizer were talking about as gospel...

Just get what you want for your car, someone elses opinion should really just be meer suggestions and not guidelines; irregardless of how much Ryan wishes he could command you to buy otherwise
