S13, stock 4-lug, blah blah blah.

Current wheels only allow the lug nuts to grab approx 1/2" of thread. Considering upgrading to longer wheel studs so I can run a mild (10-15mm) hubcentric spacer.

NISMO wheel studs are 60mm, but they're also too damn expensive. Found some ARP studs for a decent price, but they're 2.85" (72.4 mm).

My question is, what are the OEM stud lengths? Are these gonna stick out too far? I don't want to go to the trouble of replacing 16 wheel studs if they're not going to be correct.

Use OEM Porsche 911 studs so you can use the factory aluminum/zinc/magnesium alloy lugnuts that weight nothing

ARP stud you will need to drill hubs and press new studs, Nismo studs press right in and use a stock lugnut. The Nismo studs are a little pricey but way easy to use.

Really? I have ARP wheel studs, and I didn't have to do anything of the sort.

They work just fine. However, the ARP studs are super long. You'll need open-ended lug nuts. They serve their purpose well though, and for the money, they're much more cost effective than the NISMO ones. Just remember that the ARP wheel stud specs are not the same as Nissan. When you get lug nuts, you'll want to use honda spec.

So, ARP stud thread pitch is 12x1.5

just don't go making the mistake of using Honda lug nuts, that's why it's bad to even mention it, because somebody will misunderstand.

iff your going to get spacers get the h&r spacers they come with studs. But make sure they give you the right size studs in diameter to go in the hub. I almost destroyed my car riding around for a couple miles witht he wrong ones

Honda lug nuts are curved not tappered right? That can't be good for the wheel. The seat on nissan wheels is designed to take tapered lugs

The honda lugs are curved on the end... (At least my CRX lugs were)

The three basic types of lug nuts are: conical seat (60 degrees taper "acorn" and "bulge"), mag or shank style, and spherical or ball seat-customwheelsmarket.something
