I have 19's OEM wheels and I am leaning toward installing some wheel spacers.

The car is not lowered so I was wondering if anyone has done this?

Any pics would be helpful.

Thanks

lowering the car is not a prerequisite to installing the spacers. go ahead and do it, you will like what you see.

15 mm will require the a spacer with extended wheel studs. Look around and you will find many options

Are you talking about replacing the studs completely or just adding those that come with the spacer?

I just ask because I thought 15mm spacers will fit on stock studs?!?

Depends if you bought bolt on or slip on.
Slip on will require extended studs, bolt on won't, but you may have to trim the factory studs slightly to clear the wheel. (If the wheel doesn't have the gaps between stud holes.

Somebody else has just gone through it here: viewtopic.php?f=176&t=575835

I am perhaps in a minority here, but I think that wheel spacers are evil. :)

They add weight, rotational inertia, more difficulty in keeping the wheel balanced (without vibration), more stress on the hub, etc.

Simply not worth it ... all IMHO, of course!

If you really want wheels to be more close to the fender for some reason, consider getting new wheels instead - with an offset that makes that happen. Yeah, this is a more expensive solution, but better overall.

Maybe I got lucky but my hub centric h&r adapters are perfectly fine. No vibration up to 140 km/hr speeds.
