wheel spacers?

im sure people have used/have spacers, i was wondering what your opinions are? and if its safe to have.

theyre perfectly fine, if you go more than 5mm then make sure you get extended studs.

I'd recommend installing extended lugs over using spacers with ones built-in. Why? 5 less points of failure per wheel. Not that it's a common occurrence, but if a lug breaks between the spacer and hub, you probably wouldn't be able to tell with a visual inspection.

what kind of spacers have members here bought? in other words what are reputable companies that make spacers for our cars

sorry to thread jack but i wasnt trying to start another thread, so im in the market for spacers im currently on the SE-R's 18x8 45 offset wat im considering are either 15mm or 20mm's i kno the 15s will be perfect at 30 but want to kno if a 25 offset will stick out too far on our coupes?

depends how low you are i think. im running 18x8 with +38 and just put my coils on over the weekend. I was originally going to get spacers, but seeing how it fits im going to stick with that i have. if your drop isint quite as extremem i think u could probably stick out further, ill take a couple pics tonight if i have time to wash it after work

im on eibachs so im not too low...

heres sum pics of my old 18x8 30, 18x8.5 33 350's

& heres my sunken in 18x8 45 SE-R's (with thinner tires as well)

so again i kno 15mm spacers would look good but would 20 be pushing out to far? (25 offset)
