I have a factory +25mm on my 1990 M30.I want go from 15x6.5 to 17x7.And the only rims I found are +40 mm in offset.Would a 15mm spacer do the trick? That would push the tire back out to the factory setting?right?anyone?

It'll sit in 21mm further on the strut to wheel clearance and it'll stick in 9mm further on the flushness.

So putting a 10mm spacer on the wheel would make it look the same as the ones you have on it now.

I have no idea how much clearance you have now, but trying to fit 11mm of wheel doesn't sound like it's going to happen.
