I did some research but i didnt find any information. I just pick up a used set of Gram Lights 57S. The front is 17x7.5 +40, rear is 17x8.5 +40 and 235/40/ZR17 tires in all four corners. So i just wonder do I need any wheel spacers to clear my shock/strut? Im getting a set of coilover very soon. Anyway, thank for helping guys.

I'm in a same boat. I just posted a question. Mine is 17x8 +38 all around with KTS coilovers. I need to make a decision on tire sizes. Anyway, it'll be helpful if you know which coilovers you are going to get. Hope you find your answer soon.

Those tires on those wheels will clear shocks/struts, but not coilovers in the front.

215/45-17 CAN easily clear your front coilovers as long as you:

-have a wheel at +35offset or lower-have not absolutely dumped ride height.

You'll notice that most good suspension coilovers are showing up withe ride height and preload adjustability. This means that YOU decide where the lower spring perch is going to sit. It you're interested in fitting cool wheels to your car, then keep the spring perch just above the shoulder of the tire, and clearance is a breeze.
