I'm going to buy the Megan street coilovers and the XXR 962 rims. 17's. I was wondering if I am going to need wheel spacers. Some people are telling me I will, and others tell me I wont. And also, is there any real purpose for the staggered set? I just recently got into the 240 scene coming from American Muscle so sorry if the questions are bogus.

What's the wheel offset?

It's a better idea to buy the right offset wheels FIRST instead of trying to "fix" a weak offset with spacers.

Like the Hitman said, It's better to buy wheels that don't need spacers. But if you've got your heart on XXR wheels in non-girly sizes, then yes you will need spacers. The 17x7's don't need spacers but those are the lamest size you can pick.

Can I offer my my suggested XXR setup? I promise gangster-ness...

17x9+35 gold 962's with a 15mm bolt on spacer. 225/40/1718x9.5+35 gold 507's with a 20mm bolt on spacer. 235/35/18

Roll, pull and then slam. Hard.

225 on a 9 inch wheel is pretty streched...

Should look nice, though.

It's pretty much the same setup that FourLugHero has, except with 507's in the back. Pretty nice looking for XXR's, IMO

Gabby's right. You fail. 002's are sooo 2006. Here's the new 4 lug "It" wheel for 16 inch lovers:

16x9+15 4x114.3... Available at Enjuku...

I still wanna see somebody rock 507's though...
