Hey Guys, I'm going to lower my car on some Eibachs later this week....

My buddy suggest I put on some wheel spacers since I'm not planing on putting rims on for another year or so. Since I have 19in rims now he thinks i should put 15mm spacers in the front & 20 or 25mm in the rear.

What do u guys think? Should I put them on or I just just wait till I get rims... Any comments will help

Thanks

funny, my friend suggested the same thing to me...still undecided..if you don't like the look of the lowered car with the 19's then i would say get the spacers...you can always sell them when you get rims..or keep and use them if you switch out your rims during the winter.. just my 2 cents

If you do not have an X spacers can be used without much of an issue. I personally know several people using spacers on Ms and EXs with no issue and approved appearence so far.

I am about to do the same thing. I am just trying to decide on what size spacers to use. It almost looks like the front has more room before being flush than the rear though. Doubt I will use anything bigger in the rear than 20mm.

Please post pics before and after. :-)

I just lowered the vehicle. I will be posting pictures of it in a couple days. I want the springs to settle for a couple days.

25MM

15mm is the most you can go without it sticking past the fenderwell. i went with 20 mm all the way around before switching out to 15mm's and it looked horrible! cant imagine how weird it would look with 25mm.

I saw IMISMYG's ride the other day when the rear spacers were on and it looked good IMO and no sticking out like old school lowriders.

20mm might be better for you. Im about to bag my M so I wanted them to stick out a bit so when Im dropped with camber it will sit flush. Im stock height now. I have eibach 25mm.

I had them on mine before I got my wheels...do 25 front and 20 rear...that will give you front and rear flush.

Is it an illusion or is there a good bit of negative camber in the rear too?

If he has Eibach springs, then yes...my tire wear on my old M would confirm this...

fiveliter,
The image above is with 15mm or 20mm on? It looks a bit different to me from other two images; I wish I could stay with 15mm all around, but what Im hearing I won't able to fit BBK, at least on front...

...any input on what brand of spacers to use?? H&R, Eibachs, etc??? I'm deciding to get 15mm f/r by next week -- today I am lowering the car.

I noticed on ebay they sell hubcentric spacers for under $70 /pair

any thoughts is greatly appreciated....
