It's sorta like buying a shaved cylinder head and then using three head gaskets to fix the compression. Get wheels with the correct offset. There is no "great deal" on wheels that involve having to add another piece of metal between the hub and the back of the wheel. The wheels need to center on the nose of the axle the way the Nissan gods designed it.:pface

"Drifters" operate in a controlled environment, with special safety equipment, etc. Plus, those cars don't see high speeds or potholes...

Spacers are (and have always been) a bad idea...

More than "50% of the great" lowriders here in Phoenix have spacers, but their drivers aren't the kind of people I'd take atomotive advice from.

Like so many have said before me, "spacers are a band-aid fix"

You're using spacers to do one of two things:-Make an improper fitment work on the wrong application, or-get the desired "flush" with the fenders

Many wheels do fit properly. Problem is, they're usually expensive and hard to find. This, in my opinion is why so many people get the itch, buy a set of wheels, and THEN ask if they'll fit. It's backwards thinking. It really takes a lot of research, and a lot of time down at the tire shop asking questions.

I think if you ask 100 guys in the industry their opinion of spacers, 95% will tell you they're a bad idea on any application.
