I have a set of 300zx wheels for my S14. They're the turbo rims with 225/50/16 tires.

I am guessing I will need spacers for them to fit properly.... Right? If so, do I need them for both the front and the back? What size? I've seen something about 5mm spacers before, but I'm not sure where all they're needed.

Help, please. I need this info asap. I've searched but didn't come up with clear information. thanks. :)

Actually on the s14 you should be ok but I would recommend the spacers anyways as the offset with the spacer would make it flush to the edge of the fender. Now if you had the upgraded z32 brakes/calipers then you would definitly need them for the fronts I believe.

But they clear the brakes on the 300ZX...why would it change if you had the same brakes and wheels on an S14...?

They fit fine w/o coilovers...

They are:

16X7.5, +45 in the front

16X8.5, +35 in the rear

The rears look great, but the fronts are a little tucked IMO...

But up front they'll need a 5-10mm spacer to clear coilovers, depending on the tire size.

Actually its the s13s that need the spacer. You need spacers for the fronts if you upgrade to the z32 fronts but you can still actually fit one of the s13 se 15 in. rim over it without it. Other than that just about any 16 in. should clear. I wasn't really correct on the first post. I should have read that alittle better.

I brought this up again because I am getting some rubbing on my front 300ZX wheels. My car is a S14 base now swapped in 5 lug hubs and 300ZX TT brakes. My car is still in the air and I am getting some rubbing. The rears look as if they will work fine.

Should I get a 5 mm spacer or 10mm spacer. I would prefer to get a 10 mm spacer but I don't want to change wheel studs. Will a 10mm spacer work on stock S14 SE wheels studs. Or should I just get a 5 mm?

i would go with the 5mm if you dont want to replace the studs. i dont think the 10mm would have enough thread area to be safe.

Plenty of space in the rears. But if you are going to space the fronts, you may as well space the rears too.

Are you using the 8.5" wide wheels all around, or the 7.5" fronts???

I'm using 4 rear TT wheels (i.e. 8.5" all around) with 225x50x16 Kuhmo V700's. I have to use 10mm spacers on the front. With 5mm spacers, the tire hits the lower spring perch (I am running the Zeal B6's). I have, however, already replaced the studs with longer ones from NISMO.

Also, clearance with the 300Z brakes is not a problem at all.

I am using 8.5 in the rear and 7.5 in the front. I ordered 5 mm spacers. I think that will do the trick for the front. I am not going to spend a lot of money on spacers and wheel studs because I plan to switch suspension's to some Tein coilovers, so these wheels will be sold eventually for some lower offset wheels. I just hope the 5 mm covers the problem for the time being.
