if ya like to race NO MORE THAN 17"

if you dont like to race, and like the car for looks 18" which looks ugly on a 240

i ride 16" front and 17" back, but again, i race.... it works well, try to get a deep 3" in rim, good for drifting

I would recommend 17's simply because 18's use more power to get rolling. With my 16's, the car felt fairly quick. I have to turn the A/C off to get started uphill with the 18's.

I also vote for 17" rims.

Here's a question. 17's or 18's with S15 6spd transmission. Alot of people on here claim the S15 transmission is weak. I wonder how many of those people claiming this actually own a S15 swap, let alone experienced the destroyed transmission.

18's would put more stress on the drivetrain components, then again the S15 was equipped with Helical LSD which increases grip on the road especially in turns. I also haven't seen many gearbox rebuild kits for this transmission on the net which leads me to believe that they don't know what they are talking about.

The same goes for when plenty of people have said for me to get the AEM EMS for my car since I was looking for a standalone. Seems these guys don't know that the AEM EMS has problems working with all Nissans, and the staff there at AEM has failed to offer firmware patch or any other resolution for nissan owners with their product. Check out the AEM EMS forums.

I also love it when alot of shops and various other people claim that such and such engine can hold X amount of boost. It seems noone can agree on exactly how much boost any one engine can hold in stock form. I guess only the engineers of the motor can really know.

Mr. B's here in my town claim that any motor can hold any amount of Nitrous without damage as long as their is enough fuel.

okmy no bull****seriously If it was my car and i was building it what i would do

sell the 6 speed to some idiotbuy a z32 transmission and hte adapter kitbuy your 18s or 17/18 stagger if you wanna be uber low without worries

buy a power FCwith the boost kit be it MAP or MAF just get a power FC

the reason there arent gearbox rebuild kitsthey are cheaper to buy a used onesimple as that here in japan, people that break the 6 speed buy a s14 or 13 transmission for 150 bucks

as far as the helical diffsome people love it, i hate itbuy a true clutch type diff for predictability IMOany OEM diff is never going to be as good as an aftermarket be it clutch, spool or whatever you want

AS FAR as power goesas long as you have it tuned, it will make it350-375 with fuel, ignition, turbo, exhaust, and intake upgrades is reasonablebut you will need cams, etc etc etc

ill leave that, becuase there is plenty of info on making SR power out there
