hello all, i'm somewhat new to 240's. know a good deal under the hood, but dunno jack about the wheels/rims/suspension. I own a 96 240sx and i'm planning to get either the Nismo LM GT4's or Volk le37T's. I wanna get them in 17inch, so i was wondering what's a good width and offset for having a flush look with the fenders?

The best setup that still allows lowering clearance would be a 7.5" with about 35mm offset. Check the FAQs for more details.

I think that a different offset between front and rear is preferable.

The recommended size and offset on TakaKaira for the S14 is

17 x 8.0 w/ 31mm offset17 x 9.0 w/ 38mm offset

Not sure how that would look...the best is to see these actual sizes on a 240.

I'm running 17" x 8" all around...a 96 Mustang Cobra rim (2nd link in my signature) not sure of the offset because they quote that wheel in backspacing (inches) and I'm too lazy to convert it. I think they look pretty good but there's some room for improvement. I've also got 5mm spacers up front to clear my brakes.
