Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I am considering swapping my stock 17s for Enkie gunmetal 18s. They are lighter than stock and may help pickup and will look good on my blackEX35.
Will they improve handling any w/ sticky tires? Right now the EX has a slightly nautical feel in corners.

thanks

If you get the right tire possibly a little if you can get away with a softer tire and a bit wider. I went from the 225 18's to 245 19's on stock infinity rims and really didn't pick up much width as the stock 225's were already wider than advertised and the rim width stayed the same between the 18 and 19 so that limits the wider tires width. But even so, I still have the feel your talking about as I haven't done anything to the suspension and our center of gravity is what is causing that feel. So don't expect much, think of it as an appearance only upgrade.
