for some odd reason, my front driver side wheel sits inside more.(closer to the motor). it's really weird because you can tell a big difference between the passenger side and driver side. i took it to get it aligned and they said that they couldn't even put the thing on because it was too far in. we raised the car and i looked under there but there was no sign of bent control arm or anything. it's never been aligned after i installed some suspension parts but i believe it's always been like that. any ideas? i plan on bringing it to the frame shop to get it checked out tomorrow. Only thing i have is upgraded brakes, tein inner and outer tie rods, and ksport coilovers. running on stock se wheels with 205/50 ziex. oh yea i did happen to change the pass side with moog ball joint but never changed the driver side. can a bad bj cause this to happen?

btw, it's not the camber or toe. the whole wheel literally sits inside the wheel well more. the other side had bad neg camber and still looked better than the driver side.

Be sure to let us know what the frame shop tells you.

Aprox. how much difference is there from side to side? Are we talking more than 1/2". I'm thinking it must be a bent frame. You'd have to have every other suspension component short on length to move the whole thing inboard. Another possibility is maybe your one wheel is a different offset than the other side? It has happened before even with new wheels from the factory. One gets into the wrong box or is marked with the wrong offset on the back of the wheel. Might be worth checking if you have aftermarket wheels.

it can't be the wheels since it's the stock SE wheels. it has to be the frame. i'll be at the frame shop in 2 hrs, so i'll see what they say. the difference is really obvious. i would say about an 1". you can't really tell until i point it out.

ok, i took it to the frame shop and they said that the frame is fine. it took them awhile but they think that the knuckle might be bent... so i guess im gonna replace that and see if it fixes the problem.

Knuckles(spindle, upright) are cast iron in this case. Bending one without breaking it I would call impossible, but I'm surprised every day by something.

It would break before it would bend. Even then, to break it would mean severe damage to the surrounding components, all of which are more likely to give way before the cast iron will break.

Take a ton of pics of the car from both sides for comparison. Include tape measures if you can. this I gotta see!

Hm, I would be very interested in seeing pictures too. Like SmithSR said, the knuckle is cast iron... doesn't just bend. The other suspension components would give before anyway. Is it all stock suspension?

Edit: nm, re-read the first post. Hm, very interested in seeing this.
