I felt a lot of looseness in the steering wheel when I turn right.I jacked up the front right wheel. Grabbed it at 9 and 3 and It had a lot of play in and out.I can see movement from the tie rod end and the ball joint. What can cause this problem?

Ps. My lugs are tight. The entire rotor and caliper assembly moves in and out with the wheel. The play is in the spindle. But at what point?

make sure the shock/strut spindle mount isnt loose. i had shocks that had a slotted hole for camber adjustability but didnt have the right hardware for it (had stock bolts in) and it shook loose and had lots of movement in it. but thats prolly not ur prob.

a bad bearing would cost that but it wouldn't move too much and it will make a humming noise when its at speed or even low speed
