Hi there,
I have two symptoms that I think I know the cause of, hoping to confirm before I start tearing things apart tomorrow
-wheel shake from ~55-70
-during turning, the car alternates between hard to / easy to steer

Lugnuts are all on tight, wheel bearings feel good, turning feels good. Would a leak in the large soft p/s hose cause both issues? It's a KA24E.

Thanks.

Leaking PS line could certainly cause steering problems. As for wheel shake, I'm assuming stock wheels that have been balanced recently?

check your tires, 1 of them might be warped (steel belts separated). Having them balanced will determine whether its tire or rim damage.

Thanks. I was trying to put off getting tires for a week or two, but I guess I'll do that first.

I love it when the first thing you try fixes it. I guess I've never driven on unbalanced tires because its amazing what new tires does.

Thanks guys.
