Hi all. I'm about to turn in my leased '06 M35 Sport package. Great vehicle. Have a few cosmetic scrapes >2 inches on the right front wheel from run-ins with the curb. Wondering if anyone has experience with charges for "excessive wear" for this. Thanks!

check with your dealers used car deppt -- ask them who details and specifically who touches up wheels. My neighbor is a Nissan fleet guy and told me that they have guys that come in and sand out curb rash and repaint the wheel so that they look new. Now, if it's chrome, you are looking at a wheel exchange. A new wheel from Infiniti is probably in the $400 range (guesstimate) but you can go to one of the wheel exchange places (back of Autoweek magazine has some...) and it might cost you $150 or so for an exchange...) good luck!

Your located in Md go to http://www.wheelrefinishers.com I used the location in Annapolis Md. They do good work. I costs around a $100 a wheel to repair and refinish. New wheels cost $600-$800 a piece from the dealer.

Is there any benefit to put the spare on and leave the "rashed" one in the trunk?

BTW: I'd fix it, were it mine.
