Wheel Repair in NJ/NYC? Cost?

Hey fellas,

My wheels are curb rashed beyond belief, some of it is from a recent hit and run (whole driver side scraped), most of it was getting used to the M and the low pros . Does anyone know of any NYC/NJ places that do wheel repairs? Or how much does it generally cost per rim? Thanks! I'll post some pics once I get home from work.

Let me start by saying I'm no expert.
I bought my car with the wheels a little messed up. The dealer said once upon a time he used to get the rims repaired, but eventually the material would start pealing up & people kept conming back. He said they used to last well, but lately you get a run of about two years not considering the elements and salt in the winter. My friend who lives on rims said the same thing.
My opinion is you should spend the money on getting a decent set of replacement rims(same size so you can reuse the tires and 18" are cheaper).

I have a set of 19" in awesome condition for sale no tires but you have many choices with spring/summer coming up...

As for repairing your current ones, I believe costs depend on actual damage but should be around $150/wheel..

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong? Just providing some feedback...

Thats is one place in queens village. The name is papo's Auto clInic. They want 540 for all 4 rims ( doesnt matter how damaged they are)
