Hey Guys,

Have my wheels on and I noticed a few dimples along the outside edge of the wheel around the area where the rim meets the tire. I figured its probably just from hitting potholes a little to hard. They aren't bad but I notice them because I'm just anal about:things like that. Does anyone else see this on their low profile wheel and tire combos?? Just wondering if that what it is and not so.mething structural with the wheel. I really only see this on one wheel(driver rear)...by the way I'm in Atlanta so the roads aren't that bad..thanks all

Its kind of hard to see, but they feel like little dips or "dents" on the outside edge of the wheel. And it seems to be only on this one wheel. very strange..but anyway i hope you can see them from the pics..

That does look like a put hole simple or something you hit with your tires at low pressure. Air pressure should be high in low pro tires... If you're not at 40psi cold try setting them to that to protect them from now on...Your ride may feel a bit rougher but wheels are protected more!!

summer time I run 37 front & 39 rear. As you drive and the tire warm up so will the air pressure.

Also your chrome lip is a SS cap, it won't rust at all.

37, 39, 40 it's all good... I would run 38psi from time to time... Then 40 psi. Heated up will be around 45psi and yes max is 50psi so you're good!! :bigthumb:

Yeah, and i thought Detroit roads were bad when i moved 10 years ago. Well, Atlanta roads aren't that bad..but..there are a few that will shake the frame of your car!!! i shutter to think if my wife ever drives my car, i may just need to buy the roses to lay on the grave of my wheels.....i will try the 40psi (cold) and keep my fingers crossed

has anyone tried to run a 35 in the rear(my fronts are 35) for a little added cushion? or would that throw the spec off?

one last thing...since it is a 35 series on the front and a 30 series on the rear..it is still ok to inflate all 4 tires to 40psi right?

yes it would be ok but keep in mind that when the tire gets hot your numbers will be higher. Making your ride even harder over bad roads.

try 37f and 39r, when tire gets hot it will go up to 39f and 41 rear

I run 35psi and will let it go to 32psi sometimes, no bends in my rims at that pressure.

To be honest I can barely see what ur talking about from the pics but Im sure its easier in person. Maybe its a design flaw, could you of not noticed it until recently? If it was a bend it would be where the tire touches the lip not further down.
