Just got my new 37 and 3 days later found out it's horrible in the snow. I'md debating between putting Blizzaks on it right now or buying a set of smaller steel wheels (to keep the 19" ones outta the slush) and larger tires. Does anyone know if it's possible to do a replacement like that and if so, have any suggestions?

Welcome! I am a new-comer myself, but am an experienced Blizzak owner. They are absolutely WORTH EVERY PENNY. I have driven a Mustang GT for years and get around better in Blizzaks than many SUVs.

I just had a new set of Blizzak rubber put on my 37S. Yes, they can absolutely do it. BUT, I have a question too, I am posting it in this thread b/c it will help us both. The OE specs on the G37S summer rubber call for 245/40/19 in the rear. The dealership slapped on 245/45/19s. I need to confirm whether this is OK or whether it will mess up my mileage (I have a lease).

Go for the Blizzak - you can plow through almost anything!

According to Discount Tire's calculator, the 45s would actually rotate fewer times per mile, so that would be on the plus side for you for your lease mileage.
