Looking at getting some new wheels. Right now I just have the stock tear drops. I will be putting some coilovers on eventually, probably within the next 3 months.

I was looking at the Sportmax 962 - Silver 18x7.5 . The thing Im confused about is the offset that it shows on the website says 38. Now does this mean its a -2 offest or that its a -38 offest. Since the stock being 40. Am I thinking about this correctly. If not please explain. Would I require any spacers to make this flush?

Also any other ideas for rims would be greatly appreciated. I have been going up and down in this wheel section looking at everything and the only thing I can afford right now seems to be about $100 - $150 a piece for the Wheels.

The 38mm offset means it's 2mm less than stock. Pretty weak. You will not be anywhere near flush. If it was -38mm, you would be sticking WAY out of the fender.

With your budget, I would do one of a couple of things. First, I may just wait and save up in a separate account for some wheels that you really want. No point in spending money on wheels that you won't be happy with. Or two, spend the money on my coilovers, suspension pieces, bushings, and good tires.
