Alright guys... I am hoping someone can shed some light on this for me... I recently bought some Panaracer C5C R1's. They are 16 x 8 in front and 16 x 10 in the rear. Offset is +35 all the way around. I also have a 300 ZX brake conversion with 30mm calipers and have converted to 5 lug hubs. The hubs in the rear are from a 300 ZX and are using the 300 ZX upright... the hubs in the front are from Ichiba. I have a 1992 240sx coupe.

Obviously I am going to need to get spacers and was probably going to get the H&R 25mm spacers with the lugs attached to the spacer.

My question though is this... the center of the wheels (that would normally sit around the hub) are smaller than the hubs themselves. Using a tape measure and my closest estimate they center of the wheels have an opening for about 57.15mm... using the same measurement on my hubs came to about 66.675mm.

Are there any spacers that will adapt to this difference (i.e., 66.675 opening for the spacer at the hub and a 57.15 hub centric lip at the wheel)?

The other option I have is to machine the wheels center to 66.675mm, or whatever the exact size is... but if I go that route, I will be adding more $$ to what was supposed to be a cheap buy in the first place. With spacers, machining, and the new wheels I could probablt pick up a used set of low offset wheels that would work without any headaches.

Lemme know if you have any ideas or insight for me.

Thanks in advance!!

they were obviously made for the hub bore of that supra you got them from

stock hub bore for us is 66.06 mm btw

i havent heard of going to a smaller bore, most wheels use 73mm bores so they clear any hubs, and i think spacers would be either stock or larger bore

but no, never heard of spacers where you can get smaller bores

Yeah... that is what I was afraid of... I really like the wheels and they are something that not eveyone has... so I might just bite the bullet and get them machined to fit...

if your gonna be running spacers, would the bore matter, iirc most of the bolt on spacers have a flat face where the wheel bolts on, and you having a smaller bore on the wheels would be negated, because the spacers would clear the spindle nut and cap's. would probably work out alright, but im not totally sure on that one

ive never seen a bolt on spacer, in person or even pictures, but ive always been told theyre hub centric, which means they would have a hub on the spacer

I was going to run H&R spacers with the lugs attached... these are hubcentric as well.

As you can see from the pic, there is a lip that is the same diameter as the hub... so the wheels would still not fit on these.

I ended up picking these up today anyway!!

Nevermind... the offset would still be too high.

I ended up picking up a set of these today!!

Hasemi 6 spokes... fronts are 17 x 7.5 +29 rears are 17 x 8.5 + 32
