So, I get my new Kosei's and immediately make an appointment to get a four wheel alignment at the local Nissan dealer.

They call me after I drop it off to say that my frame is bent. I go there and they show me that my right front tire is closer to the rear of the wheelwell than the left front tire, and they send me to the body shop to see about getting my frame fixed.

Only the body man says my frame doesn't look damaged (casual inspection not on a lift or anything) but it looks like the front bracket that the Tension / Control rod connects to is bent and maybe that's the culprit.

So... the service dept puts it on a lift and we all take a closer look. Indeed, the front bracket looks bent but not in such a way that would push the wheel back a half an inch or so. I'm looking around for possible causes...

It seems logical that any bend or damage to the TC rod would pull the wheel forward, so I think that's out...

So I'm thinking ...1) Bent frame (my least favorite and there's no evidence to support it)2) Bent Control Arm 3) Bent Front Bracket 4) Bent subframe ? that the control arms attach to ?

I'm really open to ideas / theories here ...

If the car hasn't been in a wreck before or if it has and it was repaired properly, I doubt the frame is an issue. Take a ruler/tape measure to it. Compare both sides to see where the problem might be.

not to say u hit a curb, but that is where i have seen pushed in wheels. if only one piece is damaged i dont think it would be the tension rod since this connects infront of the hub, it doesnt seem like it would be able to hold the wheel back. the lower control arm is what i see bent most of the time, usually twisted toward the back. in this type of hit the tie rod is usually bent also.
