So I got my new TSW Vortex and Tires Falken 452 (245/40/19) a couple months ago. I never took my car on the highway till about a 2 weeks ago and noticed that around 120 km/h I started to get a vibration. I took em into the shop I bought them from and they re balanced them and now the vibration starts around 140 and gets worse the faster I go. The shop says that the tire is not a good tire and it is to be expected to get a vibration at those speeds and I saw their balancer when they were doing my tires and they were perfectly balanced. I dont go fast often at all but its annoying. What can I do?

It could be a tire defect, in which case the tire warranty should cover it. I haven't got a clue how to go about making a warranty claim on a tire though.

On a side note, can you post up pics of your car with those wheels? I'm thinking about buying the same set.

This is BS, almost any kind of tires should be ok at those speeds. 140Km /h is around 87.5 miles/hr. Something is not right with the balancing, ask them to check again, ask them to check if one of the wheels is warped.

With proper balanced tires, you car should not vibrate not even when you are going 190 km/hr.

Ya I have the pictures but I lost the data cord for my camera. As soon as I find it I will post em.

Im running a 245/40/19 tire all around. I noticed that when breaking on a uneven surface pulls the steering alot compared to the stock tire. I guess thats cuz the contact surface is alot more then stock. As far as grip goes though Im real impressed just make sure where ever you get install that they have a road force balancer. Im taking mine in today to hopefully solve my balancing issue.

No its def a vibration. I took my car to another shop and had them re balanced and they said there is likely a problem with the tire belts shifting. Im going to see if the original place will replace them.
