The back tire car I just picked up leaks from around the rims. They are just 14'' steelies with old bridgestone 205/60/14s. The rims are strait, a little corroded but not too bad. I am planning on buying a new tire, but do you guys think the problem might be the rims? The tires are pretty old I am sure as the car hasnt been driven in 4 years, but they still have lots of tread left. Tell me what you think.

if it hasn't been driven (or moved at all) in four years, there most likely is rust/corrosion around edge of the wheel, where the tire's bead mates to the wheel. The tires are probably old and cracked and should be replaced anyways. The wheels probably just have some mild rust that can be cleaned with a wire brush.

Take the wheels/tires to a shop and have them dismount the tires and check for and/or clean the rust from the wheels, then buy some new tires, as the old ones are most likely useless/cracked/and it's always a good idea to upgrade your rubber.

Most shops that know what they are doing will inspect the bead area of the wheels before mounting new tires on them. They will also check the valve stems for signs of wear or breakdown. Those would be the two most likely causes.
