Looking to have rims for street tires, and a set for autocross. Met a nice person on craigslist and he allowed me to try his rims from a 2005 G35s Sedan. The rims were 18 x 7.5 with 45 offset. The exact same as my fronts on a 2010 G37s sedan. But they hit the calipers and wouldn't turn. So I suppose ...reguardless of wheel size and offsets matching, there is no way of knowing a rim fits until you bolt it up? Incase any of you are in northern Calif. Here is to the link to this guys rims. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/2959844340.html

Yes, the spoke design still comes into play, no matter the size/offset for clearing certain brakes.

Thanks for the reply....I guess I need to have a plan "B". This might get expensive.

Look into some spacers. Lots of aftermarket rims will not fit a vehicle with big brakes so you need to make sure you get one with offsets that allows spacers.

Welcome to NICO.

Thanks! I had some 3mm spacers and that still wasn't enough. I wouldn't feel comfortable about any larger spacers, heard too many horror stories.

I'm running 15mm studed spacers...hell, think they are ebay-no names too. No issues.

For cruising, or hard driving like autox?
