wheel offsets

I was just wondering anyone out there has experimented with any different wheel sizes,offsets and tire sizes on their s13's.

I'm currently looking at some 16X8in rims with a 225mm tire on the front and a 245mm on the rear. I dont yet know what backspace and offest I should run yet. My options are from 1 to 5in for backspace and almost any opffset I want. I'm more than familar with what backspacing and offset is and I have a good idea of what i'm going to get but I was just looking for more opinions. I dont know yet if i'm going to run a wheel spacer yet but I most lilkely will. I was also wondering if ill be able to still get all the steering angle out of the front without rubbing. I do acctually drive and track my car so im not going just for a clean look but im more concerned with performance. Any insight is apperciated.

My wifes S13 is lowered and we ran a friends 225's on 15" rims and they bottomed out a lot You'll probably need that wheel spacer.

I wouldn't suggest anything that wide on a lowered s13. But throw enough money at something and you can get anything to work
