Hey guys,

I am about to order some wheels for my M56X. I have found 20" wheels which i personally think are gonna look great on the car. I am probably going for Niche Verona M150 wheels 20"x9 or 20"x10.5. The offset i see is the most common is +35.

So my question is what do you guys run for offset on aftermarket wheels?

Just to be clear, I have looked through rims and tires thread from before. I am running square set up (same wheels and tires all the around) and I am keeping stock suspension.

Any feedback/suggestions will be appreciated and feel free to add pictures.

I am gonna attack some pictures of what i am going for.

Thanks

As I replied in the PM, see my build thread for images of my wheels. It's in my signature.

I had lots of trouble getting wheel info on here before as well (not trying to bash folks... people are just not very active). I can only speak from my experience with wheel specs (I own RWD) but I think the very first question you should ask yourself is stance... what are you looking for? Slammed? Flush? Camber?

With that being said, anything within the "slammed" category should consider higher offsets such as the one you mentioned for those Niches. +35 or higher will sit inside the wheel well and clear your fenders should you slam it.

Another option is to sit "flush" with the fender and in those cases I would highly recommend to stay within the mid to high +20 offsets (higher offset for wider rear wheels).

The third and final option is "camber" (VIP). I'm not too familiar with these types of set ups because major fender and suspension work must be done to fit negative (-) offsets.

Considering you don't plan on lowering your car the 20x9 with the +35 offset will have your car looking exactly like Ilya's and is what I would recommend you go with.

To ask what others run on aftermarket wheels is a tough question because most run more aggressive offsets but are also lowered so the comparison is apples and oranges. Hopefully this helps.

For ease of use for future members reading this, here is pics of my car with the aforementioned 20x9 +35 setup at all four corners.

I'm pretty happy. I *may* only need like 5mm spacers once I lower on BC's...or I might not need anything at all (would be sweet lol).

Here are the results:
