well I'm lookin into buying rims but i also want to do a 300zx brake up grade later on so my guestion is what size offset do i need for the rims to fit the big brakes I would hate to have to sell new rims cause they wont fit with my brakes

Clearing Z32 brakes is a spoke issue. Nothing to do with offset. Offset is an issue when clearing coil-overs. 5-Zigen FN-01CRs clear Z brakes, and others, you really sort of have to test fit or ask around.

trpower7 is correct. Clearing Z brakes is based on spoke and wheel design, not offset.
