Hey , I'm looking to get a set of sport max. Xxr 962's I'm looking to get them in 17x9 with +35 offset on all 4. Just wanted to kno how that would work couse a friend said I might rub something with that wide wheels in the front. Any info would be great. Thanks !

dont buy +35.. get the lowest offset they make. i think +15 is the lowest.

( buy something more interesting if your budget allows, everyone has these wheels. )

My buddy has the same size on his 89 hatch and it rubs on his coilovers. he used 10mm spacers which made if fit a lot better and stopped the rubbing. i say go with other wheels, something with better offset and something that ISNT played out.

But 9inch +35 allows a 285 tire

Well you need to be careful. Fitment is always more aggressive on a hatch, so it's more prone to rubbing.

i wouldnt go more than a +25 in the front w/ a 9" wheel on an s13... i have +27 and had to clear the wheel from contacting the coilover w/ a 5mm spacer. effective +22 now.

17x9 with +17 offset up front barely clears Tein coilovers. Running 235/40 r17 tires. Absolutely no rubbing on anything and still have fender liners intact.

17x9 with +24 offset running 245/40 r17's. again no clearance issues.

Hope you have your fenders rolled. Be aware that you're either gonna have to run a bunch of camber or pull your fenders in the front too.

The rears will also have to be rolled, and depending on whether or not you like a bunch of camber, pulled too.

Please don't do that.

They stick out, but not enough to require those kind of overfenders.

If you have those huge over fenders, you will need to space those wheels out a LOT.

OR, RUn some HUGE boy tires or something.I don't know.

Best of luck.

I hope you have coils or something, because a stock car at stock ride hight with over fenders and wheels that don't fill the overfenders=hardcore fail.

even with a 285 on the 17x9, you are going to have to use a 50mm spacer to fill in that rear overfender.

Yea from what I see they don't make spacer bigger then 25mm , is it possible to add 2 25mm spacers onto 1 hub. That seems like a little too much tho

Good luck ruining your whole wheel bearing system if you try putting 500mm spacers on it.

25 will probably be enough for you. Just don't run any camber.
