i'm gonna order a set of 17"+7.5" (fronts) 17"+8.5"(rear) gunmetal volk gramlights but my question is what would be a good offset for a lil wider "meaner" stance for my 89' s13 hatchback, i dont have a big brake swap yet, but i want to so i'm looking for an offset that will clear bigger calipers. im not planning right now on coilovers but i also dont want to limit myself.

thanx

I've moved this into the new wheel/tire forum for you. I've also posted the link to a commonly used info sticky and the offset calculator.

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/emenu/wheel.htmlA list of Gram lights wheels...

http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bi...e=57C this link is the fitment table for the Gram light 57c, which comes in 4 and 5x114.3(4.5"), in the sizes you mentioned. All offsets are listed.

The comments at bottom of page list what wheel sizes match what brake calipers(ex: Z32, Z33 brembo kits, skyline, etc) This page should answer every question you have.

You might want to check with Volk to see what they have actually test fit on S13s and which ones work. As far as brake clearance, it has more to do with the shape of the wheel behind the spokes as well as the offset.
