Wheel Nuts

Well, this is anoying.. I put my snow tires on today, I have Mag rims with wheel locks. I bought Steel Rims and Hub Caps (Rogue Ones) off of Ebay. The lug nuts from my Mags are too darn short. They hold the wheel fine but they sit well behind the hubcap and look stupid. Can anyone give me a part number for the right ones? I want to order them online. The parts manual says they are a 40224 but they list the same part number for the mag as well as steel rims which might be correct but then your VIN number would bring up a sub part number and my VIN will cause them to ship the ones for the mags. Arghhhh... In any case, if anyone buys real Rogue steel wheels and hupcaps for your winter tires, be sure to get a set of lugnits to go with them.

AFAIK, there is only one part# for the lug nuts on the Rogue. The steel and aluminum wheels use the same ones.

If you are looking for replacement longer lug nuts, you just need to know the size of the thread:

M12x1.25

Ok, I will take a look at one on the lot. If they are the same nut then the nuts must sit deeply recessed behind the hubcap. I assumed they would protrude out a bit or sit flush. There is about 1/4" or so between the hubcap and the nut. I didn;t think that gap should be there.
